Terms & Conditions
By ordering goods or services from HB Kitchens, or by using our website at www.hbkitchens.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from placing an order or using our site.

2. Quotes & Orders
2.1 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2.2 A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (including by email) and pay the required deposit, or we confirm alternative payment arrangements in writing.
2.3 Please check your final design and specification carefully before sign-off. Once items are ordered, changes may not be possible.
3. Prices
3.1 Prices are as set out in your quotation and include or exclude VAT as shown.
3.2 If you request changes after sign-off, we will confirm any additional costs and revised timescales before proceeding.
4. Deposits & Payments
4.1 A deposit is required to secure your order. Our minimum deposit is 20%. In some cases — including where required by payment method or product type — deposits may be higher, up to a maximum of 50%.
4.2 We will confirm the deposit amount and payment schedule with you before you proceed.
4.3 The remaining balance is payable in stages as set out in your quotation (for example, prior to delivery and/or on completion).
4.4 Late payments may result in delays to delivery or installation dates.
5. Made-to-Order & Bespoke Items
5.1 Many kitchen and bedroom components — including units, doors, and worktops — are made to order. Once manufacturing has started, changes and cancellations may not be possible.
5.2 Where an order includes made-to-order items, deposits and payments may be non-refundable for those items once ordered, unless the law says otherwise.
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery dates are estimates unless confirmed as fixed in writing.
6.2 You are responsible for ensuring safe access for delivery and that someone is available to accept it.
6.3 Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title (ownership) passes once we have received payment in full.
7. Installation & Site Readiness
7.1 If installation is included, you must ensure the site is ready for fitting, including suitable access and a safe working environment.
7.2 If unforeseen issues arise — such as hidden pipework, unsafe electrics, damp, or structural problems — we may pause work until the issue is resolved. Additional costs may apply where delays are not caused by us.
8. Snagging & Issues
8.1 Please inspect your kitchen or bedroom on completion and report any snagging issues within 7 days.
8.2 Minor snagging will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
10. Cancellations
10.1 If you are a consumer and you enter into a contract online, by phone, or away from our premises, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, subject to exceptions.
10.2 Cancellation rights can be limited for bespoke or made-to-measure goods. We will confirm which items are made-to-order at the time of ordering.
