A luxurious kitchen
HB Kitchens Liverpool are so excited to showcase this luxurious kitchen, designed and installed for Sarah and Jonathon.
As we’ve always said, the possibilities are endless when designing your perfect kitchen.
The end result should always meet the needs of your family and lifestyle, offer functionality, be aesthetically pleasing and importantly, made to last using quality materials that have been seamlessly installed. This kitchen definitely ticks all the boxes.
Sarah and Jonathon had undergone extensive remodelling to the downstairs of their property with Ultra Developments Ltd. Working alongside, we designed this modern/contemporary kitchen incorporating their ideas and vision.
Welcoming hub of the home
For their doors, Sarah and Jonathon chose Vivo Slab design in Matt Anthracite (On Trend Kitchen Collection) throughout and slim Handles in Manor Black from LDL. We love the look of the Tall Larder Units, providing a sophisticated and dramatic backdrop to this welcoming hub of the home. In contrast, for their Worktops, Up Stands, Splashback and Island they chose Carrera Marble. The perfect combination, highlighting crisp lines and bringing beautiful extravagance to the fore.
Adds to the Wow Factor
We always say that the island is one of the hardest working elements of your kitchen. It’s a place to sit, eat, socialise, prepare food, do homework, provide extra storage… The list goes on. This island is no exception with its show stopping Waterfall Effect, it simply adds to the Wow Factor.
A truly Narnia moment!
As part of the remodelling, Sarah and Jonathon were able to relocate their Stainless Steel Range into the chimney breast, a great detail that adds such a homely feel to any kitchen. Another great feature is the freestanding Stainless Steel French Fridge Freezer, with its two large freezer drawers positioned beneath the fridge, balancing nicely with the Stainless Steel Range.
Then, cleverly positioned are the two larder doors to the left of the fridge that open up into the Utility Room! A truly Narnia moment!! Here we were able to install further storage units and stack the washing machine and dryer for easy usage.
Creating a clutter-free environment
To the right of the Fridge Freezer we installed a Double Pantry Larder unit, an enviable feature where the Microwave is homed alongside herbs, spices, the kettle and anything else that doesn’t need to be on show but is still easily accessible. All of these elements have created a clutter-free environment, however the kitchen is still warm and inviting. The choice of Amtico Parquet flooring in the Herringbone format certainly adds warmth and style, flowing through into the dining room, visible through the black framed metal doors.
Completing the look
To complete the look, Sarah and Jonathon opted for some open shelving and some tasteful injections of subtly coloured accessories. Their choice of lighting has created a lovely ambiance, with the wall lights providing a soft warm glow and the feature ceiling lighting enhancing the Island perfectly.
We think this kitchen is truly impressive with so many hidden features, clever storage ideas and choices that it will stand the test of time for many years ahead.

I am so pleased we chose Julien and his team to design and create our kitchen. I thought I had a good idea of how the kitchen layout should work, but Julien’s plans improved on my own. He was able to create solutions for my weirdest requests, like building a secret utility room into the kitchen, and creating extra storage from wasted space. I was originally going to go with a high street kitchen so that I could use a payment plan, but Julien’s prices were about the same and I could tell the finished result would be a lot better due to the bespoke nature of his designs.
