Working within the existing footprint of their kitchen and dining area, the space has been reimagined to create an enviable kitchen that is not only versatile but offers a timeless appeal.
Modern simplicity.
This Vivo Matt Indigo Blue Handleless flat door is installed with an Intelligent Rail System that works cleverly with your cabinetry to create hidden finger space that allows the doors to be opened with ease. Alan and Helen chose Graphite as their colour contrast for their rail system, a great choice for this shade of blue. The solid run of both base and wall units suggest modern simplicity and offer plenty of storage, with some open shelving on one wall to house cookery books and a home for tea and coffee jars.
Optimising on the layout.
The versatility of a dark blue kitchen means it is not a trend that will go out of fashion, especially when paired with white for a crisp, Classic look. Alan and Helen have certainly accomplished this with their choice of Ice White Ita Stone Worktops, Upstands and full height Splashback behind the sink and Bosch Black Glass Hob. Having coordinated all electrical and plumbing work, we installed a Combination Microwave Oven, Single Oven, Integrated Dishwasher and Canopy Extractor, all by Bosch. The stand alone American fridge freezer sits comfortably within the work triangle, optimising on the kitchen layout.
Balance and warmth have been injected into the overall look with the Amtico Oak flooring and LED ceiling and under cupboard lighting. Brushed chrome taps and wall sockets, a graphite radiator and white chunky blinds all work in harmony to pull this look together.
