New kitchen and dining area.

New Design.

Colin and Ngaire decided to take the opportunity to completely re-design their kitchen, which included removing an internal wall to create more space for a dining area.

In terms of style, Colin and Ngaire were keen to create a kitchen in keeping with their 1920’s property, which still has many original features. They subsequently opted for a Shaker style kitchen, which although traditional, is equally at home mixed with some modern features. This offers a stylish and contemporary feel.

Colin and Ngaire chose Mornington Shaker doors in a combination of Hartforth Blue and Porcelain. Tall larder units were installed to provide the much- needed extra storage in the space created by removing the internal wall.

American Walnut & Marble Quartz

They chose Carrara Marble Quartz worktops combined with American Walnut, chosen in contrast to the light marble shade to create a pleasant and sociable seating/dining area. The warmth of the walnut adding an element of coziness to the room. As keen cooks and lovers of entertaining they opted for a six burner Rangemaster range and an integrated Hotpoint fridge a CDA wine cooler.

The choice of beautiful Carrara marble with its grey veins running through, was a perfect choice to complete the look including splashback, upstands and window- sill. Sage green brick tiles added that clean and fresh element and colour contrast. A mixture of cup and bow brushed stainless -steel handles completed the overall look perfectly.

Due to the length and size of the room, they were able to keep their existing black fridge and freezer for extra storage, leading into their morning room. Again, this added another element to the overall homely look they were after. Karndean flooring in a light driftwood style completed this lovely family room. An injection of orange accessories and blue tiling really completed the look of this wow factor kitchen.

Testimonial

After having had a water leak underneath our kitchen floor, we contacted Julian to design a new kitchen and dining area.

He assisted us to source a plumber and builder to remove an internal wall which really opened up the space.

His design has created a wonderful living space and vastly enhanced our storage capacity.

The finish quality of the units and his attention to detail are both of a very high standard, whilst his prices are very competitive and fully broken down.

Both Julian and his colleagues were very approachable and helpful.
I couldn’t fault their knowledge and craftsmanship.
