The beauty of a well laid out compact kitchen.
We love this effortlessly stylish kitchen space created for Colm and Sue. When your space is more compact, choosing the perfect colour scheme can make a huge difference to the way your kitchen is perceived.
A classy and clean feel
The choice of Handleless Remo in a Matt Regiment Green never fails to bring a classy and clean feel, especially against the crisp Ice White Quartz.
For Colm and Sue, this high impact and uncomplicated upgrade has given them a functional kitchen made to last, with quality materials and appliances.
Structural modification was required
As part of the project, only one structural modification was required and that was to remove the door leading into the hallway, leaving a square opening, making the room feel bigger and allowing in more light. We advised on and organised the plumbing, floor tiling, plastering and some electrical work including some under unit lighting and LED ceiling lights giving the room a bright and airy vibe. For any kitchen, the choice of lighting and maximising on natural light is vital to transforming the space, especially for a more compact room.
A lovely welcoming ambience
Overall, the clean simple lines, fresh colour scheme, and the bright sparkle of the lights all work perfectly together to bring a lovely welcoming ambience to this room. In terms of appliances, once Colm and Sue had chosen what they wanted, we organised a timely delivery for a seamless installation. They chose a Single Oven, induction Hob and Extractor, all by Smeg, a Bosch Fridge Freezer and the Washing Machine and Dryer both from the Siemens range.
To complete the project, Colm and Sue added some light texture with their choice of Pale Grey Karndean flooring. We love their choice of the Versailles layout, an elegant pattern using a combination of square and rectangular tiles which brings subtle attention to the floor without distracting from the rest of the space.
