We love the overall look of this modern, yet eclectic and unique kitchen. Dave and Janet had a clear vision and ideas about how they wanted their kitchen and dining space to work for them. This included incorporating some open shelving, to house books crockery and storage jars for easy access when cooking. They also chose a combination of integrated appliances and a freestanding fridge freezer.
The original footprint of the kitchen and dining area remained the same, though by installing tall larder units much more storage was created. A tall rather than horizontal radiator added a more modern look, saving space but still providing plenty of heat.
The perfect place for guests.
Dave and Janet chose Lucente dust grey handleless units, complimented with Carrara marble worktops. The Composite grey rear garden door perfectly matched the units and the mid grey Amtico flooring. The island runs comfortably into the dividing wall, providing some seating as well as storage and divides the room comfortably and proportionately. A gas hob wok burner was installed into the island next to an induction hob.
The perfect place for guests to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while the host prepares food!
The contrast of wooden flooring in the dining area and simple lighting makes this space a comfortable and inviting place to spend time.
