Kitchen Disco!
This kitchen is not only a relaxing hub of culinary activity by day, it transforms into a hotspot of energy and anticipation by night.
Designed and installed for our music loving customer, Gary, this project took us to the trendy and gorgeous town of Abersoch. A real treat for HB Kitchens Liverpool to spend a few days lapping up that fresh salty breeze by the sea!

The Project…

Clean & contemporary space
As part of a total refurbishment of the property, Gary wanted to create a clean and contemporary space for day to day living. He wanted not only comfort, style and a high quality cooking space, but somewhere that could transform into a cool and sociable hub for partying and entertaining in the evening.
Gary, a skilled electrical engineer, had prepared the room in advance with soundproofing and the first fix wiring, ready for his integrated high-tech lighting and music system to be installed.
Due to the distance, we worked closely with Gary daily, coordinating thoroughly at every stage to ensure there would be a seamless fit of the kitchen when we arrived, allowing Gary to complete his finishing touches following our departure.

Sleek clean lines
In keeping with that seaside feel, Gary chose a flat matt door in Indigo from the Vivo range. This vibrant and rich colour sits between blue and violet on the colour spectrum and although it can be considered by some as a cold colour, in reality blue is actually calm, peaceful and relaxing.
For the interiors of his cupboards, Gary chose Platinum Vintage Oak, an aesthetically pleasing touch that looks and feels expensive and oozes quality. The contrasting copper handles, a trendy and stylish choice, all work beautifully alongside the sleek clean lines of the ITA Stone Quartz countertops in Ice White.

A place to set up your decks!
For his appliances, Gary chose from the Neff range and these included ; an integrated fridge freezer, a single oven and warming drawer, a coffee machine, Induction hob and integrated washing machine and dryer. We incorporated some efficient storage solutions such as the LeMans corner base unit and an Internal pull out bin. Such a well-equipped and inviting space! The Peninsular unit separates the kitchen area from the living space providing a multifunctional option for preparing food, an eating area and importantly, a place to set up your decks!
Timeless sophistication
In contrast to the Indigo Blue, Gary chose Regiment Green in a high gloss for his media wall, another nod to the coastal colours evoking a sense of tranquillity and harmony. The warmer tones of the oak parquet flooring have completed this transformation, bringing timeless and sophisticated elegance to this versatile space. And as for the lighting and music system, from warm glow to disco – a stimulating sensory experience that will certainly take the party to the next level. We just hope we’re invited!

Testimonial
“Julien and his team were amazing from start to finish. Understanding my brief perfectly and guiding me through the many design options available. They not only supplied kitchen style queues but saw the space before any work had started and helped me with ideas on how best to transform, what was previously a weekend galley kitchen.
Julien worked wonders with what can only be described as ‘less than square building’, overcoming challenges in a way you will never notice, but we know they existed. It was definitely made to measure!
Julien’s timetable was ambitious but was completed ahead of time and the follow-up works for templating my worktops happened only a day later. I went from building site to party pad in one week. I would not hesitate to recommend HB Kitchens as I could not be more pleased with the results”
