A Fresh and Contemporary kitchen and living space.
HB Kitchens Liverpool are proud to present this lovely light and contemporary kitchen and open plan living space designed and installed for George and Karen.
George and Karen had extended the property to create this open plan kitchen and living space including a utility room to house white goods away from the main body of the kitchen.
Fresh and Airy Feel.
George and Karen wanted to create a fresh and airy feel to the room and this was achieved by allowing lots of light to flood into the space through the skylights and the bi-fold doors opening up onto the garden. For their door panels they chose from the Shaker range in a combination of Dove Grey and a dark contrast of Graphite for the Waterfall Edge Island. The look was complimented with their choice of Glacier White Quartz for the crisp finish they envisaged. Within the island we installed the sink, a dishwasher, back flip plug socket and sociable seating area.
Eye-catching, Clean and Calm Living Area.
The large low beam ( which once was the back wall of the house) dictated the height of the units and had some impact on the design. After considering the best aesthetic design options, we installed a run of tall larder units along the back wall to house the fridge freezer, ovens and to create plenty of storage that seamlessly turns the corner. Along the adjacent wall more storage was created with the Smeg Hob and Extractor sitting central to the extended area. Their idea to install two Smeg Single ovens and two Combination Microwaves in a Mirror finish was a great choice alongside the darker Graphite Matt Samsung Fridge Freezer. More texture was created with brushed steel knobs and cup handles and the contrast of the light wood Parquet flooring.
The installation of LED recessed ceiling lights and under cupboard lighting works really well. The overall look is not only eye-catching, it also feels like a clean and calm living area. It’s easy to picture the bi-fold doors open in the summer while entertaining friends and family ! We hope George and Karen enjoy their new kitchen for many years to come as all of their choices will stand the test of time.
