Contemporary Kitchen Featuring the Porter Matt Regiment Door
What a great compliment to be invited back to design and install a second kitchen for Geraldine. As the property had been extended previously, our brief this time was to update the existing kitchen within the same footprint, without any need for structural alterations.
Geraldine envisaged a bold colour this time, in contrast to her previous choice of Ivory Shaker. The Porter Matt Regiment door complemented with Statuario Quartz Worktops has certainly given Geraldine a totally different look.
The darker contemporary colour choice provides a striking contrast to the previous traditional design, while maintaining a bright and airy feel. A darker choice, far from making the room seem smaller, can enhance its perceived size and create a more dynamic atmosphere. This pairing of the darker door against the light Quartz has created a crisp and clean look, transforming this kitchen into a both functional and aesthetically pleasing space. The choice of a clean white tile with grey veins running through adds a touch of sophistication and visual interest and is complementary to the overall scheme. To finish the look, we installed under cupboard LED lighting and slim brushed chrome handles.

This is the second kitchen Julien has installed for me. The standard of workmanship is excellent, as is the quality of the materials.
