Working alongside Caldway Homes who had extended the property, we were able to create Gill’s vision of open plan living with a timeless and contemporary kitchen design.

The Bi-Fold doors looking out onto the garden and sky lights bringing in plenty of natural light all work so well together and draw the eye to beautiful clean lines throughout. This kitchen certainly creates the feel good factor!
Gill chose Mornington Shaker doors in a combination of Dove Grey and Graphite and for the worktops, backsplash and island she complimented the look with Silver Cloud Quartz. Gill had an existing utility room so the washing machine and dryer remained in there and all other appliances were installed in the main body of the kitchen. This included a single oven and combination microwave oven, induction hob, American fridge freezer and dishwasher hidden away within the island.

The feature that makes this kitchen unique was Gill’s idea to create a walk-in pantry behind the main body of the kitchen, to create more storage and make good use of a redundant space. Here we installed some tall larder units ( image 6268) as well as base units and as the images show, what a great idea to have a little tucked away area keeping the main kitchen clutter free!
Gill complimented this light and airy look with black appliances,black extractor, slim black cupboard handles, all in tune with the black trim of the bi-fold doors. Again, with the light flooring contrasting against the Graphite island and doors all suggest simplicity, quality and style.
