Simple and neat design.
Jane had recently added an extension to her home to create an open plan living area. Working with Janes’ vision we created this cool and welcoming kitchen, both functional and scaled to suit the room dimensions. Jane was able to house her larger appliances in her existing utility room adjoining the kitchen area.
Creating a sociable space.
Jane chose a handleless modern door in Remo Pale Grey Matt and as a contrast, Hartforth Blue for the island. The choice of Ice White Quartz worktop and combination of Chunky Wooden Oak for the island offers a clean and warm element to the kitchen. An induction hob was inserted into the Island creating a sociable space to cook facing into the room.
Colourful and quirky ideas.
This simple and neat design has given Jane a clean slate to add her colourful and quirky ideas. We think this is a great example of how trendy pendant lighting and fun accessories can allow an expression of individual style and taste. All these elements are changeable meaning Jane can alter the look and feel of her kitchen space quite easily in the future.
Using the leftover wood from the island Jane came up with the shelving idea and we added the metal decorative shelving supports which really pulled the whole look together. Clever lighting was installed to emphasise the unique design features, this included wall unit underlighting and shelf up-lighting creating a lovely ambiance in the evening. Overall a lovely eye-catching and feel good kitchen space that Jane can enjoy for many years to come.
