HB Kitchens are proud to showcase this minimalist modern kitchen installed for Jay and Moira who had recently built their own extension to create an open plan living space and adjoining utility room.

Open plan living is a firm favourite for many who invest in extending their homes, as open plan designs combine living spaces turning them into one multi purpose room. The hub of the home, a kitchen area blended with living space creates a place where cooking and entertaining becomes easier and where families can spend more time together.
Jay and Moira wanted to create a modern and slick kitchen which was certainly achieved with their choice of Matt Anthracite Handleless doors. The tall Larder Units running the full length of the wall have provided a dramatic backdrop to the overall look and offer a home for all their kitchen items to be hidden away, using internal fixed shelving as well as pull out storage mechanisms.
While washing and drying facilities are housed in the utility room, an integrated fridge and freezer, two single ovens, coffee machine and combination microwave are all seamlessly integrated into the main kitchen space.
Eye-catching statement.
Jay and Moira have made a further eye-catching statement with their choice of a Waterfall Edge Island in Calacatta quartz, an undermount sink and Induction hob fitted perfectly into the quartz. A further feature completing the luxurious and quality feel of this kitchen are the metal graphite handleless trims. This is a smart rail system that sits neatly between the door and cabinet to create a void enabling you to reach in and easily open cupboards and drawers. The final touch, creating the wow factor, is the beautiful contemporary drop lighting over the island and large ceramic floor tiles, both complimenting the quartz perfectly and providing both warmth and contrast to the overall look.
