Clean lines and a modern feel.
Ken and Michele had knocked through to their lounge to enlarge their existing kitchen area and to create an open plan living space. A utility room was built to house the washing machine and dryer, creating more storage in the main body of the kitchen.
A versatile choice.
Keen to create clean lines and a modern feel, Ken and Michele chose Vivo Dust Grey Gloss Doors including tall larder units to house the fridge / fridge freezer. Such a versatile choice offering many options in terms of colour schemes. A showstopping feature is the eye-catching Carrera Marble island with its Waterfall effect. This is a countertop that drops vertically to the edge of the cabinet creating a continuous flow to meet the floor. Truly a focal point, it showcases the beautiful natural markings of the marble and fits perfectly with a modern style. An induction hob was inserted into the island creating the social aspect of being able to cook and engage with others at the same time.
Completing the look.
The island not only has an ample seating area but also adds plenty of storage with its deep drawers. Brushed Steel handles and taps work well to compliment the gloss doors with a subtle hint of texture.
Ken and Michele completed the look of this inviting space with light grey laminate flooring and trendy smoked glass ball shaped pendant lighting. The interior wooden doors add an element of warmth to the overall modern but homely kitchen space.
