Transform a space without extending
We’re proud to present this inviting and fresh kitchen/dining room for our valued customers, Laura and Sharan. A great example of how some internal remodelling can totally transform a space without extending. In this instance, a wall was taken down to create one larger room and the kitchen was then able to be moved into what was previously a second reception room.
A lovely homely ambience
This option gave an opportunity to house their range within the chimney breast, an effective and quirky way to not only enhance original features but to create a lovely homely ambience.
Laura and Sharan chose Mornington Shaker for their doors and tall larder units in a combination of Porcelain and Regiment Green for the island, complimented with Gold Mist Quartz from the Ita Stone Range. A clean, fresh and timeless choice matching perfectly with the rest of their tastefully decorated 1920s property.
Space allows for injections of colour
Another fabulous feature was their choice to house a Belfast Sink in the Island with an elegant Satin Gold Swan Neck tap. In addition, the Gold Knobs and Cup Handles work beautifully with the Glass Pendant Lighting and Timber Flooring.
Further details that make this kitchen so inviting is the black framed doors and large window, allowing plenty of light to flood in. The open shelving, rather than a solid wall of units, opens up the wall space and allows for injections of colour, with plants, books, pictures and utensils.
The hub of the home
The panelled wall, tall radiator and corner bench all flow seamlessly and will make for a fabulous dining area. In fact, we can easily envisage Laura and Sharan enjoying an evening meal or sipping coffee and reading the papers on a Sunday morning in this charming, feel good space.
We’re sure this kitchen will be the hub of the home for many years to come!
