More than just a storage space, this room offers not just an efficient way to store and select clothing, it is a sanctuary, a little piece of heaven for those who love to experiment with glamour and style and who love to be organised.

Welcoming with original features

This beautiful old property is so welcoming with its original features, the high ceilings, the coving and deep window ledges, is so suited to Lucy’s contemporary style choices.

While double doors lead to the master bedroom at one end and a single recessed door at the other leads into the bathroom, this beautiful room sits comfortably in the middle.

Natural hues and Hollywood glamour

Lucy chose her doors from the hard-wearing and stylish Xylo range. The natural hues of Kaki Millenium for the doors and the subtle contrast of Kaki Penelope on the marble island instil a sense of calm and sophistication.

Aesthetically, the wardrobe doors were installed at the height of the recess into the bathroom, maintaining the sense of ceiling height, drawing the eye to the ornate pendant lighting exuding a cosy and warm feel with a feminine touch. Warm recessed open shelf lighting also installed to edge the mirrors certainly resonates with Hollywood glamour and a little bit of drama!.

For the handles, Lucy made a great choice with Edge Straight in Brushed Brass from Furnipart, again bringing a subtle contrast and warm element to the overall feel. To complete the project, Karndean Parquet flooring in a warm Oak was laid, and I think we can all agree this room is stunning.
